Well, I guess summer has gotten the best of me! Between shuttling little miss K. around to tennis and swimming and crafting, I guess that I have forgotten to blog! I don't know if anyone actually read this blog, but I guess I should probably update it, right?
I have been busy getting items ready for the Grand Cities Art Fest which was this past weekend. I am not sure how many people were actually there, but they estimate between 30-40K make their way around the area! I was lucky enough to be able to sell some of my items with the wonderful ladies from the Third Street Gallery. Thanks so much Amy Jo and Becky!! Be sure to check out their Etsy shops - some adorable items!!!
Be sure to also check out my Flickr Photo stream for some pics of what I've been up to lately!! I'll be posting left overs from the art fest sometime this weekend.
I also finished my little Amigurumi dolly for my Grandma. She taught me to crochet when I was a little girl. She is 88 now and is in the nursing home. I wanted to make her something that she can cuddle with. My grandma is so very special to me!
The doll pattern came from anapaulaoli. Her patterns are so adorable and so easy to follow. I've made the mermaid and the dolly for my grandma. (I sewed her head on crooked, but I don't think grandma will mind!) Ana's book is also amazing too! Check it out at Amazon.
